It was yesterday the second big party in Switzerland after Street Parade in Zurich : Lake Parade in Geneva !
It’s a techno openair party, in the center of Geneva ! More than 15 lovemobile [1] sound systems.
It was a great party, the weather was very good, so I saw many crazy or funny clothes, sometimes very small !
But why I wrote international in the title ? Because you can see many people from different cultures. Some “crazy” people dance behind the lovemobiles, some people look the “crazy” people ;)
I met some people from Philippine, Japan, Vietnam, China, … but you can also see many African people. Don’t ask me about European people :)
I took many many pictures as usual…I put the best of my new gallery ! Take time to see all pictures !

After four finals lost against Rafael Nadal (Dubaï, Monte Carlo, Rome and French Open (Roland Garros)), Roger Federer win his fourth title in Wimbledon !
He is really one of the best tennis player of the World, maybe the best ! In Switzerland, all Swiss people like this champion !
I already wrote an article in french about him during my trip in New Zealand, when he won Australian Open.

Well done Roger !!!

After a sad night yesterday, I would like to thank our national team, to have made us dream !
It was a great World Cup in Germany, all people in Switzerland were behind Swiss team ! It is the first I saw so many people in the street with an great ambiance !

On Friday, the victory between Switzerland and South Korea was beautiful. Swiss team played the first half time very well. After half time, Korean team put pressure on Swiss team, but they could not find the solution against Swiss defence. After this feat, we finished on the first place of the group G. I never saw a passion like that in Switzerland !

After that, we knew it will be very difficult against Ukraine. What’s more, I knew especially for me, that it will a special match after my trip in Kiev.
I saw the match between Switzerland and Ukraine in the Geneva’s ground [1], with almost 10,000 people. The match was very balanced, one post for Ukraine (Shevchenko), one post for Switzerland (Frei). After more than 180 minutes, the two teams did not score any goal. After that, a part that I hate : penalties ! Because penalty shoot-outs are a lottery…Ukraine scored 3 times, Switzerland 0.

I’m a little bit sad, because Swiss team missed to do a new great feat ! But I’m also happy for my ukrainian friend Lena, who is very happy with this victory. Well done to Ukraine !

Lena, you can be sure, between your team and Italian team, I will support your team :) Australia was better than Italy !

Last news : French team won against Spanish team…french team is getting better every match. I’m also a french guy, so next match between France and Brazil, I will be for France !

The World Cup…all people are talking about this World Cup in Germany. So I have no choice, I had to speak about it :) During this World Cup, I will often post some articles on my blog.
I really like the Swiss team this year, we have one of the best team since long time ago. It’s a young team (one of the youngest team in this World Cup), but I think we can do a good World Cup.
I support firstly Swiss team, but not only my team. I also like Sweden, Japan and South Korea. But I have two different problems with Japanese and South Korean teams :

  • Japanese team : they lost the first match against Australia :( I’m sad for my Japanese friends, they really like their team. We will see Japan against Croatia and Brazil. It will be difficult for them, but I believe they can do something ! Don’t worry, I also like Australian team, I saw their qualification for the World Cup in Australia, with many Australian people :)
  • South Korean team : they are playing in the same group than Switzerland, so Swiss team will play against South Korean team on 23th June. We will see, but sorry in advance for my Korean friends ;)

This evening, the match between Swizterland and France were a tactical battle. The two team were very nervous, so the match was not so good. Too many yellow cards for nothing…the referee was bad ! But I was with friends, Swiss and French (Pierre-Alexandre and Jean-Baptiste), and it was funny.
Now Swiss team have no choice, they have to win against Togo the next Monday. I will not be able to see this next match, because the next week, I will be in a security training, the SANS Security Essentials.

I took pictures during this match, you can them in my new gallery. There are some movies where you can hear French and Swiss national anthem. Don’t forget to see these movies, very funny ;)

See you soon, on Monday, for the matches, and Hop Swiss !!!

Since I came back from Australia, I didn’t see again a very good Swiss friend of the school in Manly. She lives near Olten, a small city (a village for me :) in the German part in Switzerland, about 250 km from my house.
It was difficult to find a free weekend together…but this weekend was fine ! So she invited me to a party near Olten. It was a nice party and we spent good time ! I was very happy to see her again ! I really would like to thank her for everything !

See you soon on the BBQ party in Zurich ;)

Since my best friend came back from Vancouver in Canada, where he discovered a new passion for the Japanese food, we decided to organize a Sushi cooking party :)
My first impression, it is not easy to cook sushis for the first time, and it takes long time (3 hours). We cooked too much sushis, more than 50 sushis….for 3 people ;)
I would like to thank Florence (the girlfriend of my friend), she was so funny after few Passoa and few “Monaco” (beer with lemonade and pomegranate syrup).
You can find some pictures of this day on my new gallery. The first sushis are very funny :)

Just before I’m gonna to the Swiss Army, I’ve decided to visit Fort l’Ecluse. But what is Fort l’Ecluse ?

In the middle of Cluse de Gex in France, near the border with Switzerland, the setting of Fort Ecluse is since the Roman time a natural, strategic passage, between the Alps and the Jura. In 1601, Fort l’Ecluse becomes French and is reinforced by the king’s engineers. After the Napoleonean wars, the building dug in cliff is restructured in two stages to accommodate a fortification. Inheritance of Pays de Gex, Fort l’Ecluse belongs to the Communauté de Communes of Pays de Gex, which ensures it’s restoration, rehabilitation and it’s development.

The fort was closed, but I took many pictures around the fort. You can see my new gallery here.

When I was coming back from Ukraine yesterday, I saw a small paper from my post office…a package from Japan ! So just after my job today, I went to the post office.
A great surprise, a package from Sanae for my brithday. More than three weeks from Japan to Switzerland, but it doesn’t matter, I’m so happy to receive it ;)

What can I find inside….several things from Japan, a great glass with Japan and Switzerland flags, and a nice and funny birthday card with beautiful pictures about Cherry Blossom. Great ! I’ve to visit Japan soon !
Finally, I read my birthday card, and for my biggest surprise, four friends from my first in ACE Manly wished me a happy birthday !

I was delighted with this package. So I would like to thanks Saori, Hiroka, Erina (I’m waiting her letter ;) and especially Sanae for these gifts !!!

See you soon in Japan !
